Froddo’s new winter 2026 boot model in a cool shade of red! This roomier Up Hill Wool Tex model is an updated and improved version of last winter’s familiar Up Tex Winter model.

Tex Winter boots have been a staple in many families for years, and they’re a great style for children with relatively low-volume, medium-width feet. Now, with this new Up Hill Wool Tex model, there’s essentially the same excellent winter boot available for children who found the standard Tex Winter model too narrow, low-volume, and tight!

The flexible Lifolit® outsole bends in every direction without slipping, and provides good grip in winter conditions. Thanks to the two hook-and-loop straps, even children can easily put the shoes on themselves, and the removable wool insole is easy to dry after use. The waterproof TEX membrane between the upper and lining materials protects against moisture, while the soft wool lining keeps feet warm even in the coldest weather. 💖 PLEASE NOTE THAT TEX-MEMBRANE SHOES ARE NOT THE SAME AS RUBBER BOOTS! 💖 Shoes with a TEX membrane treated with a waterproofing spray repel water very well, up to a certain point. But once the shoes are soaking wet, the “protection” of the TEX membrane between the upper and lining materials may no longer be enough. If rain, puddle play, or generally spending a long time in wet weather is expected, it’s best to wear reliably waterproof rubber boots.
